To our very own Wonder Woman — Buffy, the sweetest, most devoted and heroic best friend Charlie and Wesley could ever ask for. 🐾💫 @buffy_the_therapy_pup

Celebrating 13 super years of snuggles, zoomies, and saving the day (one treat at a time). Our superhero has been a therapy dog for 11.5 years at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She has made a difference in so many lives, including ours.

Happy Birthday, Queen of the Justice League! We love you!💥🎉👑

Today was paws-down amazing. My buddy Wesley had a birthday party—and not just any party. There was delicious food, tail-wagging friends, and best of all…

A POOL.

The second I saw it, I dove in like a furry torpedo. Splashing, swimming, chasing toys—it was heaven.
Wesley, you sure know how to throw a party. Let’s do this again soon. Preferably… tomorrow.

Against all odds, today is Charlie’s 10th birthday! He has fought his aggressive cancer and grim prognosis with so much strength the last 368 days in order to reach this milestone. That along with being the best boy ever and my once in a lifetime soulmate dog, I knew I needed to make his last birthday party VERY “extra.”

Listen to the voiceover and watch until the end to see the unique way we celebrated.

Charlie, words will never do justice in explaining how special you are. Everyone who has ever met you understands what I mean. The best way I know how to describe you is pure goodness and light. Everyone is drawn to you. Thank you for the honor of my lifetime by choosing me to be your mom.

I don’t know how much time we have left, but I am beyond grateful for each day I have with you. No amount of time would ever be enough. I have no idea how we’re supposed to say goodbye soon. I don’t want to. I’ve been battling this anticipatory grief for a whole year now. It’s heavy, but I know it pales in comparison to what’s soon to come. 💔 Happy birthday, my love. I will love you and hold you close forever. #forever10

Today Wesley showed up to his best friend’s house ready to play, only @magic_at_work wasn’t there (Magic is across the rainbow bridge now 💔).

This new guy, River, had moved in. He isn’t Magic, no one ever will be, but River and Wes became fast friends. I see a beautiful future for these two buddies. (And yes, Wesley spent a lot of time searching inside and around the yard for Magic)
