First interaction with a wall today…🫣

“F*ck You, Kindly.” 300’ overall, 165’ to where the canyon chokes up.

Shoutout to @ataircanopies for keeping me safe. Best in the business. ❤️🤘🏽🔥

New idea I’ve been wanting to try for pre-inflates to allow for a stronger runner. I’ve found sometimes running too much on a pre-inflate can cause oscillating in your hand before placing which often reduces pre-inflate performance, something I touched on in the article I put out about low free fall.

This technique I’m playing around with stages the release of the pilot chute so I can hopefully get better runners on pre-inflates, potentially open higher, get more separation and encourage better heading performance.

These are all theories and ideas for now that will need a lot of testing on more forgiving exits over the next few months but first try seemed promising! There’s definitely some kinks to iron out but I’m stoked to play around with this more and see if there’s any consistent differences.

I’ve been up to this tower four times over the last couple of years to scout it out. The first two times I got spooked about the old, faded fixed ropes to get to the top of tower and bailed off something else. The second two times we were racing the sunset and static lined in subpar conditions with next to no light, which is how it got the name “Gotham City” when a bat missed my face by a foot on the first jump.

@uup_and_adam and I went back up this morning to catch some better conditions, spread some of @sketchyandylewis ashes for his birthday and hopefully get the free fall at 160’. Everything lined perfectly for a beautiful morning and beautiful jump. Happy Birthday @sketchyandylewis, we all miss you man. ❤️🤘🏽🔥

Jacob from @magic_backpacks stopped by town and dropped off a fresh 48” and I’ve been loving it! Jacob is getting PC manufacturing dialed in to be a bit more manageable with all the containers he’s been crushing out so more PCs from @magic_backpacks should be available soon! @ataircanopies

Mario’s Waterfall. Super stoked to finally tick this classic off the list! I was pretty peaked about this one. Such a beautiful jump. 😍

Today marks 3 years of BASE for me. 923 jumps, countless memories, new friends, new places, a few close calls, mistakes, corrections, lots of lessons and still more to learn every day. Forever grateful for this journey and those that I’m lucky enough to share it with. There’s way too many of you to tag, you know who you are, I love you all!!! 🤘🏽❤️😍🔥

The @ataircanopies Vision consistently getting it done. It took me awhile to dial this canopy in, not to mention a broken foot to learn to respect it early on. Once I got my control line length and stall point figured out it quickly became my canopy of choice for most of my jumping. Quick inflation for the low jumps, great heading performance and snappy inputs make this canopy a dream to fly. Beyond stoked for the things @ataircanopies has in the works!!! 😍🫣
