We went with Meg & Hades from Hercules for #boundoween’s “Underworld” prompt today. Plus the theme in #magicallyspookycosplay today is “anti heroes” and Megara definitely fits that bill.

Here’s a little tip
Word to the wise
Here’s a little snippet of advice:
Men are fools
Men are frail
Give them the rope and they’ll hang themselves

Given that our theme today is the Underworld, I knew I had to do something from my very favourite play, Hadestown. So, this is my spin on the Fates- they are the trio in the show that represent the voice of doubt, which ultimatly makes Orpheus turn around… very much Against the Hero (so, yes, taking the Anti-Hero theme literally here).

Also, Hadestown is the perfect show to watch during Spooky Season.. Just saying! And, I know they are not technically witches, but they are something that rhymes with it!

October 21st- Day 3- Anti-Hero/underworld
BLACK CAT 🐈‍⬛️
#magicallyspookycosplay
Hosted by: Me @magicallymargie and #Boundoween
Hosted by Heather @cyberwaif_hrh and Kate @curiouser_in_wonderland

IT'S no secret I love Catwoman so I decided to do Marvel's Thieving cat Miss Felicia Hardy. She primarily steals from the wealthy or criminal underworld. Has a love/hate relationship with Spiderman. Where she differs is that she has supernatural power a "bad luck" probability-altering aura which has her winning every battle . I gotta read more about her . I am also surprised she has not made her way into a Spiderman movie.. although i hear rumors .

We dressed up as Agatha Harkness and Rio Vidal from Agatha All Along to go to a sapphic dance party/drag show/costume contest this weekend. No one knew who we were dressed as but that’s fine and we still had a great time at the event!-

Today’s prompt for both #boundoween and #magicallyspookycosplay is the 7 Deadly Sins. Agatha represents greed with her constant desire for more power, more time, more life. Rio represents wrath, especially as she becomes more fierce with Agatha and collecting what is owed. (I feel like both characters are far more complex and balanced than that implies but we are trying to fit a theme here 😆)

This latest outfit bound is definitely worth making anyone feel green with envy, one of the 7 deadly sins and even one that Scar from The Lion Kung can relate to as he tries to take over Pride Rock!

There was only one true thing you ever said Scar, a hyenas belly is never full. 🪦🦁

Day 20 of #boundoween and Day 1 of #magicallyspookycosplay and they share the prompt of ‘Deadly Sins’ 💀

I picked ‘Gluttony’ 🍽️

Throwing it back to a favourite, bounding as a ‘Hyena’ from ‘The Lion King’ 🦁👑

The Hyenas were constantly hungry from the being of the film (often making food jokes), but during Scar’s reign he allowed them full access to the land and they over-hunted the prey.
Then when Scar inevitably turned on the hyenas, they ate him too 🫣😳

“You are a long way from New York, Constable”
.
Celebrating one of my favorite spooky season movies with a rewatch and posting my Constable Crane look for Detective Day for #boundoween as well as Crime Noir for #magicallyspookycosplay . It’s not exactly a film noir but the darker vibes is close enough 😆
.
I first became obsessed with the Legend of Sleepy Hollow my freshman year of high school when I was cast as Gretchen van Tassel (the totally made up little sister of Katrina) in my first ever play and I read the book for the first time. Then for Christmas that year, I got the Sleepy Hollow DVD and I loved it even more than the original legend!
.
This story will forever be near and dear to my heart 🖤

The Walt Disney Company has experimented with a variety of film and movie genres including crime noir, and this is the perfect example as I show off this outfit inspired the classic Donald Duck cartoon “Donald’s Crime”!

Three challenges in one! Welcome to this month's pinup theme of The Great Mouse Detective (I am Basil of Baker Street, in a noir style/setting, looking hot), and @magicallymargie 13 Days of Halloween that starts today!

I love Sherlock Holmes and so when Disney made this movie I instantly loved it. Call me crazy, but I like Disney's Dark Age movies.

Day 1. October 19th - Crime Noir x Disney
#magicallyspookycosplay Hosted by : me @magicallymargie And
Detective Story #Boundoween hosted by: Heather @cyberwaif_hrh and Kate @curiouser_in_wonderland

Welcome to my mind and the first day of my
magically spooky cosplay . I took this video yesterday and edited it yesterday. Yes cutting it close 😜 But I have loads of family and work stuff going on. I am a little behind. But for this prompt I immediately thought of Who framed Roger Rabbit my favorite movie. And of course Ms.Jessica came to mind.

Look at the fun Scooby Gang ✨️👻 It was a rainy day in central park nyc but it still was the best day to meet Heather and her bestie Victoria. Lizz and I had sooo much fun. And Lizz even made us cute little pocket size scooby Doos. Life is not always easy but being with friends makes my soul happy.
