take me back to the arabian coast ✨ (and why is the flying carpets in magic kingdom the only aladdin representation at WDW?!)
.
Tokyo DisneySea is widely regarded as one of the best, if not *the* best theme parks in the world. And honestly, I think it’s still highly underrated. We’re already planning to go back next year. 💖 The park strikes the perfect balance between beloved golden-era character IP and original concepts. I miss it so much!

“one day, when you find the one you’ve been looking for, he better do everything in his power to keep you because you deserve the kind of love that they write songs about.”

this book has me in a book hang over, and not a bad one. i just wish the third one was out already. this changed my brain chemistry. the forbidden romance. the banter. the rejection even though he wants her. lauren asher has done it again and will continue to do it again. i will forever be in my lauren asher era. i am convinced that in every life time ellie and rafa are meant for each other🫶🏻 i wasn’t expecting to cry 50% through the book with the quote that i have posted above. i also put the song lover with this book because ellie is a musician in every single way i can see this from her POV. rafa and nico are the perfect family and i just wanted more of this book🥹

love unwritten

It’s a fantastic start to the 5th fantASIA challenge—my annual celebration of AANHPI pop culture and creatives, and we’re poppin’ off with the animation Domee-nation of the incredible works of @domeeshi! ❤️🧡🤍 aka the writer/director behind Academy Award-winning PIXAR short “Bao” 🥟 & feature film “Turning Red” ❤️🐼🧡
.
I think what’s made both Bao & Turning Red so beloved and relatable to not just the AANHPI community, but to so many, is how Domee roots her characters & story in truth and the honest comedy & bittersweetness of growing up. It’s exactly THESE stories—that can be both universally relatable & also deeply personal/rooted in one’s own culture and experiences—that need to be seen, be heard, be told. When accepting her Oscar, Domee made a call to action for fellow nerdy girls: “𝘿𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙. 𝙔𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙩, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙡𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙩𝙤𝙤 — 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚.” ♡
.
THANK YOU Domee, for taking the [animation] world by the collar and shaking it into the realization that OUR STORIES MATTER and are unbelievably RELATABLE, even in all its hilarious and geeky freaky specificity. I hope I get the honor of working with you one day and being able to embody one of your amazing creations, because you inspired and continue to inspire me that no matter how far we go, the prouder I’ll be of each step I/we take or have taken. 🥹✨🌸🎐🪭🧡

I get the hype. I am Figment’s newest fan. The way his neck/head moves - absolutely killed me. 😂 I had to do a @thedisneybound of the dragon himself for my Epcot visit!

🌈Golly What a Day Collection x Festival of the Arts🌈

We’ve styled a few items from our shop for the best fest of the year! We love this Epcot festival for so many reasons, but one of the highlights for us is the colors! Our Golly What a Day collection with @desiprincesspaulomi is perfect for this festival because of the color palette. Each park is represented in this design, so don’t stress about feeling out of place if you park hop!

Sweatshirts, tees, headbands, and earrings are all available now!

Let us know in the comments which look is your favorite!

33 rotations around the sun. Having a birthday near the holidays always feels like an afterthought after the frenzy and chaos of preparing for the holidays so I want to shout out every single family, friend, and loved one for taking the time to make me feel special on my birthday. Thank you so much for all the texts, calls, DMs, deliveries, and acknowledgement despite it feeling like a strange time in the world. Reflecting on all the things I’ve worked towards and continue to strive for this year; growing, learning, and becoming a better version of myself. 🥳🎉💐🎈

I want to know your celebrations! Was it making it through the year? Getting back into therapy? Participating in 2 art collabs? Oh those are just more of mine… oops, well tell me yours below ⬇️🙏🏼

There are a lot of things I’m working on and a lot of things I wish would change, but this area of my life is the most rewarding and I just want to keep prioritizing it more and more.

Want to end this year/ start the new year following more amazing artists? Check the tags and start with the ones I traded with!

Thanks always for the love and support 😊✨
