I recently visited @tulumwellnessofficial for the first time! It was such a unique experience. I was immediately welcomed by Tulum style beats and the smell of copal and palo Sanyo. It was amazing! They offer a variety of customized spa services, botox, filler and more.

Make sure to contact them for your next treatment.

I often hear people use the words “botox” and “filler” interchangeably. I also often have injectable newbies ask me what the difference is between the two. The truth is while both can help you look like a better version of you, they have different functions and work in different ways.

Save this post for a quick reference of how neurotoxins and fillers are different from each other!

❓How long do neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) last❓

The good news: Neurotoxin injectables are effective in helping you look younger and more refreshed 🧖‍♀️

The bad news: it doesn’t last forever 👎🏽

To maintain your results, you’ll need a treatment every 3-4 months

After your treatment, you will notice your results kicking in after a few days. Your full results, however, will take 2 weeks so don’t fall in love or hate it until the 2-week mark. At this point, you can come in for a follow-up and any touch-ups (if necessary)

If you have any upcoming events, I recommend getting your anti-wrinkle injections at least 2-4 weeks in advance. This gives time for your results to settle and determine if you need touch-ups

On average, neurotoxin injections last 3-4 months. Some things to keep in mind:

• Longevity is not the same for everyone—some patients experience longer results & some experience shorter
• Dosage = Duration. The more you units are injected, the longer your results will last.
