I’m truly honoured to have received the Marvin Berglas Rising Star Award from The Magic Circle, presented by TMC President and the man himself, @mberglas.

I’ll be forever grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged and inspired me throughout my journey in magic. I’m a very proud member of The Magic Circle, so to be presented with this is a huge honour and means more than I can put into words.

Receiving this award from Marvin is definitely a full-circle moment, considering my own journey in magic began with a Marvin’s Magic set. 10 year old me had no idea that opening that box would lead to all the amazing opportunities, experiences and life that magic has given me.

Thank you Marvin, not only for this incredible honour, but for everything you’ve done and continue to do to inspire generations of young magicians ❤️

A great weekend of wizardry 🙂

Appearing in the stage show with the amazing @the_oberons in the prestigious President’s Night for @marvinberglas at the @magiccirclehq in London.

Then journeyed up to Lytham St Anne’s the following day for Magical Maestro @thelowtherpavilion with the fabulous @deanraymomd as the guest act

Then back home for a nice cuppa 🫖

Thanks to @derekolivermagic and @yevhenmoskalov for the great photos, and @jackharris for being the best technician, stage manager and conversationalist during the drive

People often ask me, “How do you learn magic?”

A big part of it is learning from other performers. One of the benefits of being a member of The Magic Circle is access to brilliant lectures and hands-on sessions.

Monday night was with the fantastic @iamspelmann @marcspelmannx Always learning, always improving.

One of the greatest honours of my career to date ✨

I’m beyond proud to share that I have officially been accepted into one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious magic societies, the famed @magiccirclehq in London 🇬🇧

Last night, I was invited on stage by the current President, @mberglas , to receive my award: Associate of the Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star ⭐️ — the highest honour achievable for performance beneath a Gold Star. I also believe that I am the second only Irish magician to ever enter the society with that award, apart from the legendary Pat Fallon!

As a kid getting into magic, joining The Magic Circle was always a dream and a huge goal of mine. I still can’t quite believe I’ve achieved it!

To now join the ranks of some of the world’s most renowned illusionists and members — Penn & Teller, Dynamo, David Copperfield and so many more — is a real pinch-me moment.

A fantastic evening, made even better by an incredible lecture from @iamspelmann and a fascinating tour from @derekolivermagic.

Huge thanks to @brendan.pics for capturing the evening so beautifully, and a special thank you to @paulmartinmagic for all the help and support along the way 🤝

Jamie Skelton, AIMC with Silver Star 🪄⭐️

Saturday residency continues to be immense fun! I'm somewhat plumbed into the format now, and getting great feedback from the audiences and fellow magicians. If you've not been, you should come! Tickets available on The Magic Circle website (and I think our show promo is the headline item on the home page). On 7th November I'm performing alongside Kevin James - an incredible honour!
