Real talk: I was diagnosed with PTSD and some moderately serious health issues a little over a year ago. Working a job that requires me to engage with severe trauma daily while sprinting to grow an organization to help survivors, took a significant toll on my body, mental health, and spirit. After months of brain scans, changing my diet, seeing a therapist and a doctor prescription to exercise and meditate daily, I can feel my body come back to life. The brain fog is clearing. My heart feels lighter. But, facing evils in the world (and PTSD responses within my own body and mind) requires me to stick with it! Today I imagined every negative thought on this punching bag and got as much negative energy out as I could. Feels so good to give my body and heart a voice in my life and release everything that does not belong to me! #care4selfcare4others #ptsd #traumarecovery #whatisyourbodysaying #endhumantrafficking #restoreinnocence @savinginnocence

As Crowbar closes, its owner is searching for a new live music venue in Tampa 🎶🩷

This weekend marked a bittersweet moment for Tampa’s live music community, as @crowbarybor hosted its final show after more than 20 years.

Owner Tom DeGeorge has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help create a new independent live music venue in Tampa.👏
