"A.K.A. M.D.O."
A Categorized Respective of both The Capitalist and Non-Capitalist Film & Video Work of MICHAEL DOYLE OLSON (a.k.a. M.D.O.)

Artist in person. Q's and A's.

Michael doesn't believe in BIOs, but he is a lifelong Eastside Madisonian videomaker stretching back to the WYOU days of cabel access (look it up kids) and the wearer of many artistic and curatorial hats including Founder of MAGIC PIXEL GUILD (@magicpixelguild).

He neither believes in statements of artistic intent, but this is a deep retrospective of his work, and it will be in catergories.

“it’s 16.14 GB of video files, what’s the point in trying to explain it” etc etc

Our September meetup at @imaginaryfactory is within sight! Behold this sublime poster from the virtuoso pixel art wizard @kyleolsonmabob

We'll have a special guest this time 🚨 the Dane County Trash Lab! Housed in a 27-foot-long repurposed cargo trailer, the Trash Lab features playful interactive stations that encourage visitors of all ages to rethink our relationship with waste, protect our environment and redesign our production and waste systems. Special thanks to our friends at @renewaste for pulling up.

We hope to see you there! 💓🚮♻️▫️💡✏️💾👥
