I'm enjoying some nature balm in Gerringong. A local magpie warbling while endangered Bogong moths flutter all around us.

Magpies are exceptionally good in using both sides of their voice box (syrinx) simultaneously, basically duetting with themselves. They can mix and match about 1000 different syllables. This one throws in some mimicry of other sounds as well.

Sydney Bar Week goes BANG on Day Two🔥

Sunday saw us learn from some of Sydney’s best at @deanandnancyon22, squeeze in an arvo session at @tailor.room, then head to @uncannynewtown for a few more bevvies — BYO heroes. 🫡🍻(check our highlights)

Willy G at @magpieenmore served up the Scottish specials, before @clubsuntoryoceania wrapped up the day with a Clubhouse experience we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. 🥃✨
