A moment to peek at our next welcome guests... INTRODUCING: Juno Szczawińska (She/Her, They/Them) is a creator in the broadest sense: they put together brick-a-bracks, scraps, things that matter, a collection of oddities, a mosaic of senses. While remaining a multi-media artist, these days they tend to gravitate to poetry: they co-founded and currently sit as vice-president of the University’s Spoken Word and Poetry Society @swaps.uoedinburgh as well as uploading regular poetry and artwork to their instagram @magpiejunee revolving around tenderness, queerness and fleeting time. In their words, their ultimate goal is “to make things that linger”. INTRODUCING: Islay Allen-Hopkins (He/Him) @islayallenhopkins.musician is a multi-instrumentalist performer and composer working in contemporary jazz and modal makam/dastgah music. His presentation for this concert will be a set of pieces and improvisations for Oud, in the mode of Shur and some of its branches.

Well the spooky items like this guy were certainly popular @leithwitchcraftmarket I sold out of Pumpkins and some other Halloween items. 👻 I do have one of these gorgeous Selenite Ghosts left plus a few more Spooky season items. I will know what's left when I go back tomorrow (Wednesday) to do the repack. I will share what I have left of the spooky seasonal items here. 🦇👻🐈‍⬛ 👻 What a cracking day the witch market was. The predicted storm held off til close of day and there was a great vibe as always.🧙‍♀️ 👻 Thanks so much to my new assistants @libbymcgregor & @magpiejunee. These guys propped me up when energy was flagging, and were both lovely people to work with... especially when you get huuuge cinnamon buns brought to you with coffee. (Thanks Libby for the sustenance 😘) 👻 Thanks again to @nymeriabloom & @carneliankeeptarot for their hard work putting it all together. Swiftly navigating the usual hiccups with lighting etc. 👻 Hopefully see you all at the Yule market.🎄 What a crazy fast year this has been! 😲 I'm back open Thursday to Sunday as usual.

This is an exciting issue of interview with @celluloes !! In my interview with them, I was blown away by their talent. What struck me even more was their sincere attitude to both poetry and life. I took a lot of inspiration from it! Come n check this issue out! 8分钟前•查看翻

Poetry by: Juno - 16y/o ‘hello! im juno, im 16, from the uk and i write poetry. this is one of my more "different" pieces in terms of it's subject matter - on female sexuality and sex work, how women are treated simply for how they dress.’ This piece of writing is incredibly powerful - emotional. So emotional. ‘You can’t deny his advances while offering yourself up like a lamb to slaughter’ is one of my favourite lines from this piece because it truly brings out the objectification of women & how we are often put at blame for when men (or anyone) do things to us, just because we are dressed a certain way. I love this piece, so incredibly much. #wearethenewgeneration #poetry #genz #writing #amateur #teenagepoet #society #women #feminism #objectification #objectificationofwomen #femalesexuality #femalesex #dress #clothing #clothesdontdetermineconsent #youth #youngpoet
