A big weekend for WPI Rowing Alumni!

Congratulations to alum Maggie Kirwan (BS ‘25/MS ‘26), Nicole Miller (BS/MS ‘25, current coach), and Jaia Delizo (BS ‘24/MS ‘25) for their athletic achievements over the weekend, showcasing the long lasting impact that WPI rowing has on its athletes and their future endeavors!

Up in Portland, Maine, Maggie and Nicole completed the 2026 Peaks to Portland Swim, racing 2.4 miles across Casco Bay assisted by kayakers Megan Tupaj (BS ‘24/M. Arch ‘26, current coach) and Katie Woodland (BS ‘23/MS ‘24), supported by other alumni from the program. Collectively, they raised over $1,100 for the YMCA of Southern Maine as well.

In Lake Placid, Jaia took-on one of the toughest Ironman courses out there, finishing the absolutely grueling 140.6 mile course in impressive fashion to officially join an elite club of Ironman finishers!

Current and incoming WPI students: Interested in joining WPI rowing this fall? There’s still plenty of time! Email jsteele@wpi.edu for information on how to join!
