Selling my grandma’s home that she has lived in for the last 21 years has been tough ❤️ She was my person, & it’s been a really tough few months without her. It makes me more empathetic to the fact that selling a house comes with a lot of different emotions, and sometimes it means a chapter closing that you really don’t want to.

This house holds so many memories. And the fact that I will never step foot in my grandma’s home again truly pains me. While my Realtor brain sees a sprawling ranch home with a functional layout, on a great sized lot, I saw Grandma sitting in her chair reading a book. I saw her playing solitaire on her computer at the kitchen counter. I saw a comforting, safe place for me to come when I was as my lowest. So much laughter, many holidays, and all the little moments in between, that’s what truly makes a home 🏡

We hope the next person will love & cherish 460 Garfield St as much as we have 🤍 We sure will miss this place, but mostly the lady inside it
