I'm glad I got the @mahinsure organic pads when I came across the stall in the Ladies Club Gala Utsav.
Found it very comfortable and absorbent.
Enquired the details of the make and came to know the pads are made of natural raw materials, free of plastic, chemicals and artificial fragrances.
The top layer, made of organic fibre, keeps the surface dry and prevents rashes.
They are naturally deodorized, antibacterial and anti-fungal, also most importantly, bio-degradable and compostable within 180 days of proper disposal.
I would definitely recommend Mahinsure sanitary pads to all.. very comfortable and absorbent 👍

Glimpses from the session on Sustainable Menstruation: A Need of the hour at St. Joseph's College, Irinjalakkuda in collaboration with Mahinsure as a part of World Menstrual hygiene day on 26th May 2023. The session witnessed the participation of more than 500 NCC Cadets from 17 educational institutions attending NCC Annual Training Camp 2023. Compostable pads from Mahinsure were distributed as a part of the event. Our sincere gratitude to Mahinsure and Ms. Jayanthi Durairajan for supporting our initiative and being a part of our journey in educating sustainable menstrual care practices among college students.

Different dimensions around menstruation were discussed in the session, especially the economic, environmental and health benefits of using sustainable menstrual products and a question-and-answer session was held specifically to address the doubts regarding various sustainable products. It gives us immense pleasure when the students show their willingness to switch to healthier alternatives and consider making an informed decision while choosing a menstrual hygiene product.
