POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

TorTour 500km 6 person event.

3 riders on the road at all times.

A team of people behind the scenes to drive and support with water, food, positivity and everything else you need to ride all day.

3.30am start, 9pm finish. Mountains, lakes, sunrise, sunset and extreme heat.

An extra 15km (the route was actually 515km), which I only realised at about 400km and had to break the good news to the guys on the road.

A team who were complete strangers a few weeks ago, working together to get round this monumental physical and organisational challenge.

We finished in a pretty amazing 17hrs 30 min, with an average of nearly 30km/hr.

Well done team, what an amazing experience. We came a long way from that first ride in Andermatt! Thanks to the support who had the most stressful job, for sure.

“Hey Deby, do you wanna do a 500 km race with a bunch of strangers?”

Hell yes, I wanna do this!

After our first training camp, when we all got to know each other, I was pretty sure about one thing: this will be a mess, but it will be fun. And somehow that made me even more motivated for the challenge.

Then the day came.

And yes, it was a mess. There was drama, stress, chaos and the brutal heat was a lovely little extra treat on top. 😂

But hey, we managed to finish.

We made a plan, adapted it about a hundred times and somehow kept moving forward. And I can’t really explain the kind of bond that happens when you suffer through something like this together. It’s a special one.

This day is difficult to put into words. There were moments of frustration, exhaustion, laughter and probably a few moments where all of us wondered what the hell we were doing.

But let me tell you one thing: this is something I will never forget.

We did it as a team. A team that started out as a bunch of strangers and crossed that finish line as something completely different.

And a team that was the only one out there with girls in it. 💅🏼

Thanks to the boys for being ridiculously strong and always having our backs. Thanks to the whole film crew for keeping the mood up and doing such an incredible job. Thanks to our supporters for all the hard work behind the scenes.

And thanks to the random stranger who saved my toilet break. You’re part of this story now. 😂

500 km later, I don’t just remember the pain, the heat or the chaos. I remember the people.

Because in the end, that’s what made this whole crazy thing so special.

We suffered together. We laughed together. We somehow made it work together.

And we fucking did it. ❤️

While you’re reading this post, I’ll be riding the first part of the Traka. I’m really excited and looking forward to it. Will it be tough? For sure, but as I always say, it’s all in the mind. I’m going with a half-injured hand but a heart full of determination. I’ll tell you all about this adventure soon.

Is @frijoolina the best pug living in Girona?

We here at AHHA believe that, yes, this little black pug is not only adorable but also @maiafish's bike-packing adventure buddy, often seen snuggled against her back.

Maia is always ready for the next adventure, and we were lucky to have an opportunity to spend an afternoon with her. She tested the Toaster (and it's officially Maia-approved 🤌), and we are happy to have the Toaster supporting her this season and next season, and we may have made a fun review video. 👀 🎬

Follow @maiafish and @frijoolina for their next events, races, and adventures!

My first 200k race turned out to be quite successful. But this week was about way more than just the race. Social events, rides and athlete talks - meeting old and new friends, amazing food - simply soaking in the G-Town atmosphere. 💜

A 12 km climb at an average of 5.5%: a steady, consistent effort, perfect for riding as a group, finding your rhythm and soaking in the surroundings. Traffic-free, on a forest track that winds through the woods, with views gradually opening up as we gain altitude.

What an incredible ride @therifticeland was in Iceland.

Here’s a taste of what’s coming tonight at 8 PM CET — four videos in this carousel capturing the essence of the race, the landscapes, and the drama.

Don’t miss a second — not the carousel, and definitely not tonight’s premiere. You’re about to witness one of the best Gravel Earth Series documentaries so far. Not just because of the epic scenery, but because of the fierce battle for points.

We’re entering the decisive stretch of the season. The Overall standings are heating up, and the athletes are putting on an unforgettable show.

See you tonight in our YouTube channel at 8 PM — Central European Time (CET). Link in bio.
