The last several days have been some of the very best of my life. She is everything…a complete angel. Maia and Chance are already wonderful parents.

One of our most asked questions is: how do I find a mentor?! 🥹

And while we wish we could give you a perfect step-by-step formula… sometimes it starts with simply keeping your eyes + ears open to the people God is placing in your path.

For Maia, that happened to look like meeting her mentor while hiking a MOUNTAIN 😂🏔️ and while we know that’s not a tangible tip lol, the point is this: God can use the wild, random, unexpected, or even totally mundane moments to connect you with people who may end up having a huge impact on your life.

Pray for mentorship. Be willing to initiate. And keep your eyes open - you never know who God might be placing right in front of you.

Celebrating Lauren’s baby girl due in December with these amazing women was another layer of gratefulness for the lives woven together in friendship. We all pull each other up and pray for each other’s hearts. 🍼 At one moment someone said our next semi-annual Christmas get together will have two precious new angels. 🌼 Teared us up! 🙌

it can feel like there are a MILLION different voices telling you what you should + shouldn’t do in motherhood. 🫠🫠

Maia’s mentor Bekah shared 3 things to come back to when discerning what voices to listen to + making decisions:

1. Take it back to Scripture.
2. Remember God entrusted YOU with this child on purpose. And has given you the Holy Spirit to guide you!
3. Give yourself grace - you won’t get everything right. Motherhood is also a place where God gets to teach + refine us. 🤍
