The Bauchi State Chapter of the City Boy Movement has held a strategic meeting with members of its State Executive Council to review activities undertaken so far and chart a clear course for the next phase of the movement’s operations across the state.

The meeting, led by the State Director, Dr. Ja’afar Ibrahim Dass, provided a platform for the leadership to take stock of the chapter’s activities, reflect on the progress made, identify areas that require greater attention and agree on priorities for the months ahead.

In his remarks, Dr @jafman2013 commended members of the State Executive Council for the energy and commitment they have brought to the movement since its activities commenced. He said the progress recorded was encouraging, but stressed that the real test was the ability of the leadership to sustain the momentum and translate the emerging structure into meaningful engagement at the grassroots.

He urged members to see the second phase as an opportunity to move beyond establishing structures and deepen the movement’s presence among the people.

According to him, the next phase will focus particularly on grassroots mobilisation, community engagement, strategic communication, membership expansion and stronger coordination of activities across the state.

Dr. Dass emphasised that effective mobilisation requires more than numbers, noting that members must be able to connect with communities, listen to their concerns and communicate the objectives of the movement in a clear and responsible manner.

He also called for stronger teamwork among members of the EXCO, urging them to remain proactive in their respective assignments and to maintain regular communication with the State leadership.

The meeting further considered plans for upcoming programmes, media and digital engagement, grassroots activities and other initiatives designed to strengthen the visibility and effectiveness of the chapter.

Members of the State Executive Council also contributed to the discussions, offering observations and suggestions on how to consolidate the gains already made and improve the implementation of the movement’s programmes.
