My first time at the @bolognachildrensbookfair !! 🥳 (Post 3/3, extra text in comments)

After some deep rest days, I’m happy to quickly report to you some of my best moments at the fair 🥰 I wrote a caption that was too long for Instagram so I’ll share the complete version this month on my Patreon. 💕

In very short format, deeply thankful to :

🔮@marc.majewski for the portfolio review and signing of my book copy. “Butterfly child” is very special to me as someone who had to deal with some bullying growing up, and finding my own special ways of expressing myself. It was also so cool to see your work originals in the expo!

🔮@yoerislegers (thank you @laurenpletinckx_illustrations for introducing me to Yoeri!) who took a good chunk of time to look into my work and give me constructive, kind, insightful and complete feedback. Thank you so much!!

🔮Having an insightful portfolio review with Vítor from Livraria Parlamentar. Felt so good to be “home” for a short while in the Portuguese corner, among all the hectic energy of the fair. Thanks @vmmlaure for the photo!

🔮 @dolores_prades for the portfolio review and enthusiasm for my work

🔮Having a masterclass with the outstanding @mattforsythe . Funny, and generous and I hope you recovered from the very adventurous bike ride to Bologna which you told us about. 🤭

🔮Having a tour of the expo “The Original Art” by @clarepernice from the Society of Illustrators. @anqiekanq and @sam_kalda were very kind to be there and talk with us about their process!

🔮 Great friends and art buddies who kept me good company and inspire me!

🔮 Last photo - new Bologna obsession - thanks to my bestie @cami.delfa for getting me hooked, even though is so sad I can’t eat one often! 😂

Curious for more? 💕
I normally share all about cool visits and drawings I do on Patreon, this post is just a tiny version of what I normally write and share. I will still write more extensively about the whole experience over there. If you want to have a deeper dive and support my work (for a tiny symbolic amount), head to Patreon. 💕
