As Project Hail Mary smashes the box office, becoming the top grossing film this year, we sit behind the mic and ask the important questions. Can this film convince everyone that sci-fi is da bomb? Will readers of the book get to see their dream bromance on screen? And is Lila going to have to publicly apologise for saying Ryan Gosling’s botox would get in the way of his acting?

Find out in this ep. Also on the menu: the new Lord of the Rings film, casting for White Lotus, SNL UK - and more.

Is Botox ruining movies?

A lot of our fav stars are looking… different. This year, Anne Hathaway is starring in 5 films. And though she is 43 years old, you may mistake her for the 23 years she had when filming the first instalment of Devil Wears Prada.

You’ll have spotted it in other 2026 trailers too: Ryan Gosling in Project Mary, Emily Blunt in Disclosure Day, Margot Robbie in Wuthering Heights... These days, it’s harder and harder to spot a fully natural face. The culprit? Cosmetic procedures like botox and facelifts.

So where has it come from? What are the implications for the art created - and what is the impact on the audiences?

Listen to our full deep dive episode on all your fav platforms.

2026’s film calendar looks like the perfect fast food menu right now: exciting new items, some old classics, ingredients that leave us hungry for more... And yet - some of these flicks will look nothing like the photo, while others will become go-to treats for years to come.

Jump in with us as we digest the full film calendar for the year of 2026. What are we looking forward to? What’s just a giant C@$h Gr@b? Find out now in our new episode.

Une escale en France, as we near the end of the ✨Great Wintery Christmas Adventure✨. Other than the odd wooly hat (or Beret, depending on how patriotic you’re feeling), could’ve totally mistaken France for the kiwi summer I’m returning to. Warm puffer, my dude, you were often « de trop ». Anyhow - food haul was magnificent, got to hug a few millenial walls (URGH - love a good millenial wall!) - and hey, even the capital wasn’t too bad. See you again soon, motherland x

Woopdeedoo, baby: it’s time for 2023 in ASMR.

She’s been a page-turner! A goal-kicking year with a hefty side of madness - best described using Gosling’s: « SUBLIME! ».

Sounds speak louder than words - so I’ll let this vid convey 2023’s colourful mayhem (& the companions who’ve come along for the ride) ♥️

A week in the lil sis’ courtyard, where not much has changed since my last visit (read: consumption of sweet goods = 🔛), other than a drop in temp and George Michael’s Last Christmas obsessively playing in every store. Canada, my girl, you still got it.

PS - grabbing « big lil sis » Maïlys by the shoulders to get her down to my level? Still the best pic approach. She was uncomfortable but I was taller, so who’s winning?

26, you’ve been a gem. One of the best, even.

Can’t think of another 12 months that have combined quite as many exceptional dishes, locations, career ticks and smiling faces. Picture white water rafting in Canada, eating a fuck ton of pasta, singing to my nephew bubba, getting a tat (sorry mama), meeting friends who make my heart flutta… eesh. I know. Too many rhymes. Let’s go, late twenties o’clock!!!!

PS - I’m fundraising for a marathon (whaaaa). Link in bio if you want to make a cheeky bday donation.

REDRAW! I participated to this #drawthisinyourstyle of my dear friend @mailys_pitcher 's character for her 1K followers in 2019 💖 I still loved it in some ways, and it had a sentimental value to me since I drew it to celebrate my friend lil success.
But at the time, I was under heavy medication because of depression, had not much energy nor focus. I tried to do some things, I tried keeping on drawing, painting, I even made a portfolio to try to find paid internship in studios.
But the best that can give an empty shell is full of mediocrity. I was so mediocre. I had ideas, but I was a puppet and I couldn't do anything of value. For this Draw This In Your Style, I remember consciously choosing the colours I found pretty and the expression i wanted on her face. But the result looked like a draft, an unfinished piece, and at the time, I wasn't able to be aware of it while looking at it.
Now I know. And I wanted to do better, while keeping my previous artistic choices. It's finished. It's clean. It's not always correct (lighting issues oops 😅), but I'm happy with the result. You can compare today vs. 2019 in this post. And also see my friend's OC! This post got a bit intimate... But I felt like talking about it while posting this painting. Thank you for Reading. 🙏 I Hope you enjoy this new version, tell me in the comment if you find it better than previous one!

2. Blasphemous typo makes for badass nickname
3. A call with my sis in numbers: 1h23 of laughter, 56 Frenglish words, 5 years of life gained
4. The Pitchers will judge you entirely on the colour gradient of your tea (needless to say dad and I don’t get along)
5. Pic titled: “Index Outstretched - a Boomer’s Photoshoot”
6. Games amongst the competitive kind, ft. lots of swearing
7. A train in New Zealand?!?!??!!?
8. My addiction to endorphins has been compromised. Mental stability declining fast. Send help.
9. Cinematic nerd out
10. A day riding narcoleptic horse, Buddy - and watching dad hold on for dear life
