Maine islands…tropical? Nope…I remember my time in New Zealand and the islands were always covered in sand, Nikau trees, huge ferns and so much greenery it always reminded me of summer in New England. But Maine islands from someone not from here look the same in every season…rocks, lots of pine 🌲…I remember reading the Maine kids book The Circus Ship by Chris Van Dusen to my daughter so many times in NZ and she used to ask why the islands looked like that…🌲🍁🍃🍂🌊
