Footage I forgot that I had of the demolition of @thesacodrivein .

It’s hard to believe that what was once such an iconic part of our local summers. Seeing the demolition work in person was definitely bittersweet, bringing back so many memories and the simple joy of watching a movie under the stars.

We are fortunate that they have opened a new drive-in across the street at @aquaboggan ☺️❤️

Did you ever go to the Saco Drive-In? What are some of your favorite memories from there?

Drop your favorite Saco Drive-In memory in the comments below. 👇❤️🎬

Phantom | Cutler, Maine | September 2026

In Cutler the tide sets the schedule. At low water the harbor empties enough to ground a boat like Phantom against the pilings, and for a few hours the hull is fair game: bottom paint, zincs, whatever needs doing. When the water returns, so does the boat.

Last Light in Cutler | Cutler, Maine | September 2026

As always seems to happen in the busy summer months, I’ve completely fallen off posting. So here’s a few outtakes from a recent shoot for @downeastacadia I’ve been enjoying. More to come!

Personal post…😊

What a fun day out on the water with my friend Jon Stewart, his wife Kristy, and our dear friend Michelle Dion who was home visiting from California!

I honestly can’t believe this was my first time out on Jons lobster boat all summer! All the photo shoots I had booked kept me so incredibly busy that I barely had time to do some of the things I love to do during the summer here in Maine. I didn’t have a lot of free time this year. ( not complaining as I love what I do ❤️📸 )

We had a great time pulling traps and ended up with a handful of nice lobsters. 🦞 But there was one in particular that was probably one of the biggest lobsters I’ve ever seen! 😳🦞

Of course, some of the lobsters had to go back into the ocean, including some that were carrying babies. As tempting as it can be, those are the ones we definitely want to see go back and reproduce so there will be plenty more lobsters out there for the future. 🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞

There’s just something special about being out on the water, pulling traps, laughing with good friends and enjoying what Maine has to offer. I definitely need to make more time for this next summer!

So I want to hear from you… Have you ever been out on a lobster boat before? 🦞 Or have you ever seen a lobster as BIG as the one in this video?

Drop a comment and tell me about your experience! 👇
