Happy 15th Birthday to my beautiful baby, Riyah. 🎉💖

Fifteen years ago, God blessed me with the greatest gift I could have ever asked for and that is YOU. You are my baby, my world, my heart, and the reason I go so hard every single day. Everything I do is rooted in the love I have for you.

Watching you grow into the amazing young lady you are today has been the greatest honor. You are the best daughter, the best sister, and the best friend anyone could ask for. Your heart is beautiful, your spirit is genuine, and your love for others is something truly special.

As you step into this new year, I want you to always remember this: don’t ever let people steal your joy, because they could never steal your shine. That glow you carry doesn’t come from this world; it comes from the favor that’s upon your life. What God has placed on you is meant for you, and no one can take that away.

Keep being kind, keep being confident, keep trusting God, and never shrink yourself to make anyone else comfortable. You were created to stand out, not to blend in.

Mommy loves you more than your mind could ever have the capacity to hold. There aren’t enough words in this world to measure my love for you. I’ll always go hard for you, pray for you, protect you, and cheer you on through every season of your life.

Happy 15th Birthday, my sweet girl. Keep shining, keep smiling, and keep walking boldly in the purpose God has for you. I love you beyond forever. Happy Birthday, Princess! ❤️🎂✨👑

Apparently, I have a reputation… 😂💃🏽

They did a celebration dance at the end of camp, and then someone asked, “Who remembers the dance we learned earlier?”

Let’s just say a lot of people sat down… but y’all know I wasn’t about to do that. 😭🤣

If there’s music playing, I’m dancing.
If somebody starts a dance circle, I’m joining.
If another team is dancing… I’m probably over there too. 😂

You can lose the whole team in a crowd, but somehow you’ll still find me dancing with random people I met five minutes ago. 💀

What can I say? I just love to dance! 💃🏽✨

Beyond proud of my girl! 🥹💙📣

Riyah attended UCA Cheer Camp with her high school team at Kennesaw State University and was selected as an **All-American Cheerleader Nominee!** 🎉👏🏽

This recognition reflects her hard work, dedication, leadership, and spirit. Watching her continue to grow and shine makes this mama’s heart so happy. 💙

Keep trusting God and chasing your dreams, Rye. This is only the beginning! ✨

Some moments as a parent just hit differently. ❤️

Weeks before Riyah even knew her gym would be creating a Level 4 and Level 5 team, she was already putting in the work. She spent countless hours teaching herself how to do her full, pushing through frustration, accepting constructive criticism, making corrections, and showing up with the kind of attitude coaches love to see. She knew exactly what she wanted, exactly what teams she wanted to try out for, and she refused to let anything stand in her way.

Today, she found out she made BOTH U18 Senior 4 Assassins and Senior 5 Obsession, and I couldn’t be more proud. We were traveling through Florida, and honestly, I didn’t get a chance to decorate her box or make the reveal as special as I normally would have. But what touched my heart most was realizing that none of that mattered to her. She didn’t care about the extras, the decorations, or the fanfare. All she wanted was the opportunity to earn her spot and achieve the goal she had been working so hard for.

Watching her reaction reminded me that the sweetest victories are the ones you’ve truly worked for. Riyah, your dedication, humility, determination, and growth have been incredible to witness. This is only the beginning, and I cannot wait to see what Assassins and Obsession accomplish this season. We are geared up, ready, and excited for what’s ahead. Let’s go! 🩷❤️🔥

I don’t think I can fully put into words how I felt when I opened my reveal box and found out I made both U18 Senior 4 Assassins and Senior 5 Obsession. 🩷❤️🔥

For weeks, I’ve been working toward this moment. Before I even knew my gym was creating a Level 4 and Level 5 team, I was teaching myself how to do my full because I knew what I wanted. There were days when things didn’t come easy, but I kept listening, taking corrections, staying positive, and pushing myself to be better every day. When I finally saw my name, all of those hours of hard work, dedication, and determination came rushing back at once. I was overwhelmed with happiness, gratitude, and so many emotions.

To my mom, thank you for always believing in me, supporting me, encouraging me, and making sacrifices so I can chase my dreams. We were traveling through Florida, so there weren’t a lot of decorations or extra surprises, but honestly, none of that mattered. The reveal itself was everything I could have wanted because all I cared about was earning this opportunity. Seeing how proud my mom was made the moment even more special. This is a memory I’ll never forget.

I’m so excited for this season and everything that’s ahead. Assassins. Obsession. Let’s work. ❤️🔥

P.S. And not too much on my edges because ya girl did not have time to lay and slay OKURRRR! 😂😂😌💅🏽

CHAPTER “WELL DONE” • Listen, I’ve been a mom since I was fifteen and in these past few weeks the weight of that quite literally caught me off guard. Not in a sad way, just in a whew, that’s a lot of years to carry something so heavy and love it so deeply kind of way. I raised babies while I was still becoming myself. I made decisions before I even had the language of sacrifice.I mothered through every version of me-broken, growing, healing and rebuilding. I’m just in awe of the girl who became a mother before she even became a woman.

To my son —I’ve been proud of you since the very beginning. Not just for what you’ve done, but for who you are. Your heart has always been the best thing about you.Keep showing up.Keep giving your best. I pray you stay soft even when the world tells you to toughen up. I pray you cry when something hurts and laugh when something doesn’t make sense and never feel like you have to apologize for either. I pray you stay kind even when people aren’t, that your heart stays open even when life tries to close it. I pray you grow into a man who knows that strength and gentleness can live in the same body, that you can be brave and still say that hurt. I just pray the world never teaches you to hold back.
I hope you stay grounded, and full of light. I hope you continue to notice the little things…The sky, the way people feel, the way your favorite song sounds on a good day.I hope you stay proud of who you are and never shrink to fit into someone else’s version of how they choose to see you. And if you ever forget who you are, come back to me. I’ll remind you. You were good long before you were grown. You were loved long before you knew what to call it. And no matter how big you get, no matter how far you go, you’ll always be one of my reasons to believe in everything good.

To our Village…THANK YOU —We love and appreciate you more than you may ever fully metabolize. 🫂🤎💛
