Styling is one of the most underrated elements of interior design. Those Pinterest-perfect spaces we admire are often the result of expert styling—whether by professionals hired specifically for a shoot or by designers who also take on the role of stylist. But what does great styling actually require? Time, trust, patience, a keen eye while shopping, and often the clever use of existing pieces to pull everything together into a beautifully finished space.
I love how my client of this project calls me months after completion,to take the advice on her home shopping. Thank you, you know who you are. 🥰🙏

Here it is!
Last week I had shared a hint of this gorgeous outhouse poolside. From my sketch few months back,I think we did better than what we imagined. I suppose that’s possible only when we discover as we go along. We stick to the language, but we also keep it fluid enough to welcome any surprises that we may chance upon. In few months time we will be ready to reveal the rest of this stunning home.
Project : Badgara house
The fun part was shopping for vintage accents, these had to to be carefully curated to complement this stunning wallpaper designed in collaboration with @lifencolorsdesigns

In Conversation with Interior Stylist and creative head @namratadatt from @maison.15 and Interior Extraordinaire and Rezon founder @kalyanisaha who lead us through the art of setting a centre table!

For your home, creating a table setting that is enticing has the ability to completely transform your space. The centre table in your living room is quite the focus and is often the most difficult to get right.

The three golden rules are; layering, textures and giving different heights keeping# in mind proportions. Coffee Table books with the addition of gorgeous Rezon accessor are a must! Textures are added with gorgeous flowers, and who better than @_1magnolialane . Food also provides different textures with a divine cheese platter and of course candles for warmth and ambience! The height comes with these handmade vases, such as these gorgeous sculptural ones from Rezon’s new collection, without any added flowers or foliage to keep the focal point on them, as a centrepiece!

You don’t always need the obvious to make it special. You just need a little Rezon magic!

Make it Special
Make it Rezon!

We chose forest greens and #olives in the living room and offset them with vibrant reds and warm oranges. The rugs have bold retro patterns, something that can easily camouflage paw marks.

We closed the open kitchen and added a firmly shuttable door so that no over enthusiastic pets could help themselves to human lunches.

The master bedroom has a high four poster bed with #ikkat patterned #rugs in reds and blues. Busy enough and yet cool enough to make life easier for parents and puppies. This strategy was repeated in the guest rooms. The rugs motifs were picked up and accentuated on the upholstered #headboards and the walls and cupboards were painted to complement the shades.
