The next stop in my Black-owned fragrance series is Matcha Nº9 by @maisonbyscents, and as somebody who loves discovering fragrances that don’t smell like everything else in my collection, this one had my attention.

Matcha Nº9 takes the whole matcha experience and turns it into a fragrance with matcha, warm vanilla, green tea, and soft cedarwoods.

And THIS is exactly why I started this series. There are so many Black-owned fragrance houses creating interesting, beautiful scents that deserve to be on your radar.

So the question is…are we drinking the matcha or wearing it? Because at this point, I’m doing both.
