In our suites at La Plantation, every piece of furniture is carefully chosen. The sculptural armchair by @maisonsarayan and the vases by @lrnce give the room its character, blending contemporary design with Moroccan craftsmanship.

Hidden within Marrakech’s Sidi Ghanem district, Maison Sarayan unfolds less like a showroom and more like a world of its own.

Founded by Sarah Bentolila, the 1,000 sqm space brings together collectible furniture, sculptural objects, handcrafted materials and contemporary Moroccan design within an atmosphere designed to be explored slowly.

From monumental forms to tactile surfaces and custom-made pieces, Maison Sarayan reflects a new generation of design emerging from Marrakech — one rooted in craftsmanship, materiality and emotional resonance.

More than a retail space, it is an invitation into a distinct creative universe where nothing is ever reproduced identically.

Day one of the Marrakech Design Journey with Designeers Club🤍🤍🤍
First day was all about discovering the makers, ateliers and creative spirit of Marrakech together with Anca and an inspiring group of designers.

🩶Studio LID
One of the oldest Berber rug ateliers in Morocco, where tradition, craftsmanship and generations of weaving culture come together beautifully.

🩶Soufiane Zarib
An inspiring world of vintage and contemporary Moroccan rugs, blending heritage with a more artistic and modern perspective.

🩶Maison Sarayan
We explored Sarah’s beautiful textile and homeware designs and enjoyed a truly lovely lunch surrounded by Moroccan craftsmanship and detail.

🩶LRNCE
A Marrakech-based studio full of personality, colour and creativity … ceramics, furniture and objects crafted with a strong artistic language.

🩶The Tribaliste weaving workshop
We even had the chance to experience rug weaving ourselves and learn more about the stories and symbols woven into each piece through generations.

🩶Jnane Rumi
A hidden peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with beautiful architecture, gardens and a calm atmosphere that reflects the slower, soulful side of Marrakech. 🤍

A day filled with texture, colour, craftsmanship and inspiring conversations. Marrakech continues to stimulate all the senses at once…
