What a crazy week in Paris!
It all started with a double dose of pleasure: @cymandeofficial, @brian__jackson and @yasiinbey at @jazzalavillette. With my dream team @anderssicre and @caroline_piccio, we somehow managed to bump into half the planet, including Brazilian friends who came all the way for the occasion (Olá @jaayology.world!)…
And what a pleasure to catch up after the show with the legendary Brian Jackson and incredible musician @lexmd22, someone we’ve crossed paths with all over the world for so many years.
The following day was family time, starting with the opening of @gregoireloy’s exhibition and his subtle, ethereal work, before ending the night with my friends till the end of time (a few missing from the picture poke @stella_w_libert and @gonthier_music!)
Then on Friday, off to the Fontainebleau forest for an incredible photo session with @alicelemarie, before heading to Samois-sur-Seine for yet another (honestly, I’ve lost count) edition of @samsam.festival.
What a pleasure to finally share the kitchen of @latablev from @maisonsumac with my friend @shuyakyotojazz after somehow missing each other all summer.
Shuya lit up the DJ booth and dancefloor, and the night turned into another epic back-to-back-to-back-to-back as always with @anderssicre and @neilbopperson. These improvised back-to-backs are slowly becoming a proper Sam Sam Festival institution!
A very short night later, we were off to Vincennes to close @parisjazzfest at @festivalsduparcfloral with Kyoto Jazz Massive and @echoesof.official, who absolutely blew the crowd away.
Great excuse to bump into @misstuffers, Frankyto from @vinylandcoffee_ and Amar Kabouche, among many others.
A short break for Lolo’s birthday, before ending the week with @idol.io’s 20th anniversary.
20 years already… what a ride!
Back-to-back with my buddy @franckyheavenly from @heavenly_sweetness, the unexpected joy of meeting the iconic @diane.tell.la.vraie, and finally the most improbable afterparty with DJ @celesteceelesteceleste — the kind of crazy musical leap we love so much.
Paris, you’ve been busy. And so have we…

We can’t wait for @weoutherefest 2026 which is staged here in this wonderful, quintessentially English village.

Over a couple of weeks, the magic begins and St Giles Park hosts one of the leading UK festivals.

Always mindful of treading lightly, the sound barriers are grown right here in the village, less than a mile from the main stage. How cool is that!

Sadly the event is now fully subscribed but if you would love to know more, do take a look @weoutherefest and DM us your email if you’d like to be added to our accommodation for either the Grade II holiday home or @allhallowsfarmhouse B&B waiting list for 2027
