“I have such immense respect for actors. We need to have a lot of resilience! It’s funny because, on the one hand it’s like: “Hey do this job where you’re required to be super vulnerable, able to to access deep emotion, meet someone for the very first time, for example, and immediately fall madly in love with them” then on the other “Make sure you have a really thick skin, are okay with constant rejection and a life of uncertainty” and actors are often very sensitive people! You have to be, at least in a way, I think. It takes a really courageous curious contradiction of a person to weather that storm, So, yeah, I have so much respect.”
