Been in a bit of a weird space lately and I think it would feel nice to share some thoughts… I realized it’s almost been two years since I got this mysterious lung disease, and even though they think it’ll fully go away with time, it still is such a journey.

There’s something really vulnerable about not fully trusting your own body. But trying to listen to what it’s been telling me has honestly changed my mentality about everything so much. Most importantly: “what is my motivation behind how I am and what I do?”

And wow… being back to dancing feels like such a gift. I’m truly SO grateful for that! I cry sometimes because I’m just so fucking thankful for it😅🙈. Funny enough, I’ve actually learned to push myself in a whole new way because of it. I’ve had to become much more aware of my body and mind. Not just to heal my lungs, but also working toward my goals with this new obstacle 🌱💅🏼
