IT'S REVIEW TIME! ✨ THE JUNGLE BOOK at The South African State Theatre, Pretoria I watched the show in the school holidays at the Drama Theatre, South African State Theatre, Pretoria and WOW! What a show! ❤️ What a wild, magical jungle adventure! Perfect school holidays outing! The Production - MORE MAGIC: VR Theatrical presents THE JUNGLE BOOK! A vibrant, high-energy musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's beloved classic! After a SOLD-OUT season in 2025, it returned for the school holidays! Adapted and directed by Daniel Butcher-Geddes with original score by Wessel Odendaal — edgy, modern, urban-inspired set and costumes, dynamic choreography! 70 minutes, no interval — pure jungle magic! Perfect for families! The Story - MORE HEART: Follow Mowgli on an exciting journey of self-discovery, friendship and courage! A tale of survival, identity and belonging! You will laugh, cheer and feel all the feels! The Cast - MORE TALENT! ⭐ MIND-BLOWING! 😍 World-class cast: Noluthando Mathebula as Mowgli Grant Towers as Baloo Gareth as Shere Khan — menacing, powerful! 🔥 Siyamthanda Makakane as Bagheera Virtuous Kandamiri as Kaa & Raksha — absolutely INCREDIBLE! ✨ John Tsenoli as Akela & King Louis Costumes, voices, movement — top tier! Every animal brought to LIFE! Pure talent! The Venue - MORE VIBES: The State Theatre was FULL and buzzing in the school holidays! Perfect family outing! Great sound, great atmosphere, uplifting, feel-good theatre for all ages! Kids cheering, families singing! Thank you VR Theatrical, Daniel Butcher-Geddes, Wessel Odendaal, Virtuous Kandamiri, Gareth, the amazing cast, crew and The South African State Theatre for a wild, magical, unforgettable adventure! Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MORE than 5 if I could! This school holidays jungle adventure will live in my memory forever! 🐻🐍🐯✨ #TheJungleBook #StateTheatre #SouthAfricanStateTheatre #VRTheatrical #Pretoria
