Sometimes you need to stop acting like failing is going to kill you.

Ivan had a pretty simple way of looking at the risk he was taking building something of his own.

What’s the worst that happens? It doesn’t work out and you get a 9–5?

When you actually say the worst-case scenario out loud, sometimes you realize it’s nowhere near as scary as the story you’ve built around it.

Betting on yourself doesn’t guarantee you’ll win.

But you might realize you can afford to try.

Comment BET and I’ll send you my full conversation with Ivan 👊🔥

Finishing up the last of my photos!

My little computer is holding up well.

But I seriously love how all the pics came out, there’s never better than grappling under the casino lights! 🤩

I love working for @majorleaguegrappling because it’s seriously a one of a kind experience, and there’s never a dull moment!

Thanks for the hospitality Reno.

I have an endless list of good things to say about @roll_and_goal33 and his promotion @majorleaguegrappling

The short and sweet is that I had a great experience and it is without a doubt an athlete-first promotion. Lots of opportunities and money all around. Thank you for having me Ivan and thank you to everyone involved in putting this together. God willing I will have many matches on MLG.

Was fortunate enough to get the submission over a game opponent via a concept I've been working a lot to sharpen (Yoko/kimura interplay)

"Fight in the cause but do not exceed the limits"
Was a little closer to exceeding the limits than I normally am 😅 ("captain crash out": @_caleblimbrick_ )

Blessed to compete. Thankful to God for granting me a healthy body and a competitor’s spirit. Grateful for my wife, my coaches, and my training partners—the support system behind it all. Hungry for what’s next. ✝️

I want to thank God, my anchor 💜 @__gueritaaa_ , my family, the Rogue Wave family, for the endless support and encouragement, and most of all Ivan of @majorleaguegrappling for giving me the opportunity to put it all on the line and to leave it all on the Matts no matter the results, believe I will be back and counting down the days until the day the best grappling event will be back and just know I’ll be ready for war again
