I know this is late and many people already know but I have officially committed to The University of Alabama in BFA Acting. I first would like to thank my parents for their constant support and dedication throughout this entire process. I could not have done it without them. Secondly, I want to thank my theatre director at Heritage for inspiring me to pursue my dreams. I also want to thank all the directors I have ever worked with for helping me realize that this is what I want to do and for giving me advice. “Just because something ends, doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great success.” I am so grateful for each person I met and the old ones I reconnected with. Jacki and the other teachers taught me so much about being an actor and the only way I can express gratitude is doing what I love. Crucible (Part 1) The Crucible is the most educational, most beautifully written, and the most life-altering show that I've ever been a part of. I had the absolute blessing of playing John Proctor, and John was one of those once-in-a-lifetime roles that you just know you were somehow meant to play. After our very first table-read, I told one of my good friends that this show was something different, and I firmly believe I was right. The entire town of Salem came together through the absolutely amazing cast, which had no weak link. I don't know if I've ever been part of a more dedicated, hardworking, and strong group of people. Each and every one of this cast became their characters and became the town, it was so beautiful to watch and be a part of, and I know that I'm looking forward to the next time that not only John and I can reunite, but the next time that I can work together with these amazing people.
