Happiest (late) Birthday to my favorite person! We were able to breakaway for a few days this past week to relax, eat a lot of tacos, and explore a bit. I would redo that trip a million times and still love it!

Happy Birthday Kenz! 😘

Yesterday was one of the hardest and most humbling days in the history of Great Pyrenees Rescue Resources of Utah & Montana.

We took in seven dogs all at once from a large hoarding situation—our biggest single intake ever. These dogs came from an overwhelming environment, and while they are now safe, their journey is just beginning. There are many more that still need help, and we are already preparing to welcome three more next weekend.

Every one of these dogs needs food, medical care, decompression time, and a soft place to land while we work toward finding them the forever homes they deserve. Taking on this many lives at once stretches us emotionally and financially—but we say yes because they have no one else.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible foster families who stepped up immediately, opening their homes and hearts without hesitation. Thank you to our volunteers, our team, and our families who showed up, supported us, and helped carry the weight of a very heavy day. We truly could not do this without you.

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Denkai for making this happen for these dogs. We owe it all to you!

If you’re able, we are asking for help. Donations right now will go directly toward feeding these dogs, providing medical care, and meeting their daily needs as they begin healing and learning what safety feels like.

Thank you for standing with us, believing in this rescue, and caring about dogs who have been forgotten for far too long. 🐾🤍

We also have many dogs on our website that are still looking for their forever homes. We would love any shares on social media to get their faces out there as well. Here is the link to our website: https://gprescuerum.rescuegroups.org/animals/browse

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re looking back at so many faces, stories, and second chances.

Some came to us scared. Some broken. Some just needing someone to notice them.

Every wag, every timid step forward, every happy tail leaving for a new home reminds us why we do this.

These dogs were part of our 2025 season — past, present, and forever part of our rescue family.

Thank you to our fosters, adopters, volunteers, donors, and supporters who made every rescue possible. You changed lives.

Here’s to the ones we saved, the ones still waiting, and the ones who taught us love comes in all shapes, sizes, and fluff levels.

See you in 2026 🤍🐶
