Ep 20: “World War Fuckery!”

The world is going to shit again guys. Our news screens were taken up by COVID not long ago – but has now been replaced with what could be a larger scale war than is already happening 😣

We chop up Summer 2022 going from Post COVID celebrations, to praying there isn’t WW3, whether we’d want to know how and when we’d die, whether Kanye has gone too far or is a man who wants his wife back, and things we remembered from our youth (who remembers Keisha the Sket!? 😅)

Also peeps let us know in the comments – if the UK enters the war, are you dusting off your Timbs and putting on your Tech Fleece Trackie to head to the front line? 🤔

Here is my truth.

A few weeks ago I made the decision to take back control of how I want to experience life (just a little bit more than I already have been). Prior to this I was really battling the obstacles of self-doubt in both myself and the process…and I believe as women we experience a rollercoaster of emotions on a daily, and I am no exception.

Women are expected to always maintain a standard of beauty, etiquette and image all formulated by a patriarchal and arguably oppressive system. It makes a lot of us feel inadequate, overly critical of ourselves and limited.

I had to remind myself that the self-doubt, judgement and pressure that I place on myself is NOT OKAY. The amazingly talented @shotbymusicald helped me to channel a vision I have wanted to do, but was too skeptical to bring to life for many reasons. I felt like I would be misunderstood, judged and ridiculed for my choice of expression. For channeling parts of my creativity in an unconforming way. For art that showcases the beauty in allure, mystery and provocation.

But I’ll be damned if I ever allow myself to feel less than…I am enough, I am more than enough. I am abundance and my cup will continue to overflow with blessings, love and prosperity.

So fuck the judgement, fuck the falsities and fuck your opinion… DISRESPECTFULLY

This is my truth.

(I do not own the rights to this song)
