Long post ⚠️ So Truly Rooted showcased this pass Saturday at the 3rd Annual Beauty Weekend and it seemed that everything that could go wrong did 🤦🏿‍♀️. We never got the chance to practice a run through so we were just gonna wing that part and hope they remembered what they were told. Finally got to the point of actually showcasing and had a track set up that aligned with the showcase to tell a story. We in the first 30 seconds of the showvase and the music goes out😬....But God🙌🏾!!! The hosts of the event so graciously started to sing a gospel song for us to continue while the music was being fixed🥹❤️. When the music got back on track we were so far into the Showcase that we could not get it exactly to the point where it should have been so DJ continue the music with gospel and inspiration❤️!!! Everyone was singing along and praising❤️...It was truly a move and I'm so grateful and appreciative that it ended up turning out the way it did🙏🏽🙏🏽 . Most of the video is without a background song so you can hear what actually happened #beautyweekend #trulyrooted #Godis

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17 One thing I’m grateful for is being surrounded by talented people who aren’t afraid to share what they know. At the hair show, @makays_touch took time to teach, guide, encourage, and sharpen me in an area I’ve been working to improve. Every correction, every tip, and every piece of knowledge was given with love. This is a reminder that growth requires both teaching and being teachable. Thank you, Michaela, for pouring into me. I’m SO grateful to be connected to genuine people who want to see each other grow. To be loved is to be seen. 📸 @k1shachereestyles 🤞🏼😘 #braidsbydominique #locstylesforwomen #locticians #premierebeautyshow #fyp
