I’m forever grateful that the Lord has positioned me to inspire and empower the next generation of young women.
I don’t take this assignment lightly. I will encourage them, uplift them, advocate for them, war in prayer for them, and remind them of who God created them to be.

I will teach them to walk in dignity, love, grace, wisdom, and strength not just by what I say, but by the life I live.

As a Generation X woman, I’m honored to pour into the generations coming behind me.

I will pray for them. I will stand for them. I will cover them. Most of all, I will LOVE them.

Because sometimes the greatest legacy we leave is not what we accomplish it’s who we empower to BECOME ❤️‍🔥

BIG NEWS, SISTERS! 🤎✨

The Sister Circle is officially a Her House Community Group through Church of Whitestone! Same heart, same sisterhood, same Jesus at the center—just making room for more women at the table. 🫶🏽

Whether you call Whitestone home or not, there is a seat for you here. We can’t wait to welcome new faces, grow together, and continue pouring into one another.

Already an active member of our GroupMe? No need to re-register, you’re already part of the sisterhood!

Interested in learning more? DM us—we’d love to connect with you!

Our next meeting will be September 24th @ 7pm in Liberty Hill. Zoom available. As always, please RSVP through GroupMe. Link in bio.

Bring your Bible. Come as you are. We can’t wait to see you. 🤍

With love,
Dejah & Makayla

I was in a puddle of tears in my closet half the day in and out of prayer and seeking for God to do exactly what he always does. I sat and waited and waited and waited. I did everything but calm down in that closet💆🏾‍♀️…and I remember a time where I’d gotten this worked up to where I “couldn’t” control my emotions and every intrusive thought (in that moment) took over.

God has some of the most gentle ways to nudge us and remind us of who we are. I hung posters around my kids workroom the night before and one of them was the fruit of the spirit. I began to speak that over myself. JOY, love, peace, kindness, PATIENCE, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and SELF-CONTROL. Every emotion I let lead was a choice I was making. In spite of the muddiness of life God is right with me, so, I wiped my snot and got back to work.

He showed me today by way of some amazing testimonies at our first internal shoot with our own team and our own resources that the mission is worth it. Gotta pick up that cross daily and keep climbing 💪🏾

This is your sign to go to a women’s conference with your best friend… aka small group co-host. 🤍

We had the BEST time with @cecewinans and the @thisisgenerations family. Extremely grateful to been given the opportunity to be in this room with each other, worshiping and learning from some of the best leaders.

We left feeling more filled up, fired up, and more expectant than ever for what God is going to continue to do through TSC community.

We can’t wait to see you all at our next gathering on 8/13!

Happy 18th Birthday, Clara! 🎉🥳🎂💃🏻

What a joy it has been getting to know your beautiful heart and your Girls Night Ministry. You light up a room. You have such a genuine love for Jesus and youth. It shines in the way you love and serve others. Thank you for saying yes to pouring into our Shine Your Light campers this year. You made a lasting impact on so many lives, including ours. Thanks for being a great spiritual sister to Hope. It was such a blessing celebrating this special milestone with you, your family, and close friends on Saturday. I’m praying this new chapter is filled with God’s favor, bold faith, incredible adventures, and every blessing He has in store for you.

Happy Birthday! We love you! ❤️😘
