So much has changed.

We shot @magsandjuliemovie at the end of 2019. Released it at the end of 2020 during a pandemic.

I think about how I’ve changed since the making of this comedy.

The world got very serious. Very. I’ve had this odd track record of doing something big in my life and having tragedy strike not long after.

I remember doing a big art show years ago and a few weeks later 9/11 happened.

I guess a lot of artists probably think to themselves. What’s the point? The world stays crazy. Am I even making an impact?

But I think the artist is the essential worker.

What we need is more art. More beauty. More communication. More unity, togetherness, storytelling and connection.

So I’m going to keep creating my art and not worry about how the world hits back.

If the last few years taught me anything - it’s this ⬇️

Be art. And let the world be chaos. Life is better with the artist in it.

Always.

Being an artist.

It’s always exciting, challenging, a hustle and fulfilling.

When you work in the arts there is never a boring day. Just strategy.
