They say 'home is where the heart is', and this year, the stage has been my second home.

I look back at this year with so much gratitude because even after 10 years of doing this; I still feel the spark because I get to do this regularly. Being a part of a collective music community feels like being a part of an extended family you've known forever and haven't met yet all at the same time!

If you're reading this far, you've either shared the stage with me, showed up to support me or sent love my way from afar; and I'm grateful to each and every one of you. 🫶🏽

Wellington-based progressive metal outfit @makedarknz are building momentum with the release of a live performance video for their latest single ‘The Summit (Pt. 1)’—a brooding, slow-burning journey that showcases the band’s command of atmosphere, tension, and release. Filmed live at the Underworld Tavern in Wellington, the video captures Make Dark in their element: unfiltered, immersive, and locked in as a unit.
