More background story below if you're into that sort of thing, but... The flowers barely showed up on this one, but they're perfectly aligned with her and add to the absolute goddess vibe of this photo, so I LOVE it. Also happy Mother's Day to this absolutely gorgeous and AMAZING mama, and to all of you that are celebrating!⠀⠀
.⠀⠀
Part 2 of this story is about how much anxiety I had through the whole thing. I felt well equipped enough when I decided to actually do it, since I decided to actually do it, but the morning of, I woke up early, then fell back asleep and proceeded to have an elaborate dream in which absolutely everything that could go wrong went wrong. Including, but not limited to: since @starladawnndl is so amazing at makeup and has all these different wigs, she showed up looking like a COMPLETELY different person which was not at all the look I was going for, and culminating in a star exploding. Like an actual star. But it was somehow close enough to be an issue. I don't even know. Don't question my subconscious. So when I went to the shoot though, even though I knew it was a dream, it had thrown me off and I was super nervous and no longer confident in my skills. But @robd_photography of @safelightlabs was so helpful in setting up (and pulling my lead back out), Starla is both an amazing photographer and model so I just let her do her thing for the most part, and @deeyawnsay helped assist and calm my nerves lol. HOWEVER, even after the shoot went well and I finished the double exposures of flowers, I dreamed that the photos didn't turn out very well, and spent the entire day that I dropped them off paranoid that they would get lost or ruined. YAY ANXIETY!! You can see that everything turned out perfect though 🤷🏼‍♀️⠀⠀
