Funny how one old movie character can bring back an entire piece of your childhood ❤️🥹

The owners of @rascalsalvagevintage have a familiar face in their storage unit at their High Bridge, NJ store. Make an appointment with them to see your childhood's favorite dragon, Falkor, that @maker_junction made.

Getting our swag on! While we refine the final design steps for the official CNC cuts in CAD, we decided to make some mini models to play with too. Experimenting at Maker Junction with laser cut paper, 3d printing and recycled wood scrap from a local Guitar maker! Very excited for some future swag we can share with you all to come ✨

The cherry on top of an amazing weekend. My guy @tony_demo came through with the assist getting this piece I made to the MVP. This isn’t just from me, it’s from @joey_paints who collaborated with me on this. It’s from Knicks Twitter for knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that @jalenbrunson1 isn’t just a 1A, he’s HIM. Shoutout to @poppaleft for bringing communities together to grow our fandom. Thank you for including me in this exciting new project for @fanatics

20+ hours this weekend was dedicated to material exploration, training, troubleshooting, and cutting our test section! Seeing this IRL vs on the computer screen gave us so much more clarity on structural integrity, feasibility, and handling. From here, we’ll be able to determine how best to differentiate the layers from a color and lighting perspective before we commit to the final design. Thank you @maker_junction for being such an amazing home base for this project! 🙌 #burningmanart #burningman2027 #sculpture #art

We spent all weekend laser cutting, discussing, and building our baby scale model for ONE.

When you’re creating an interactive art piece of this scale, you don’t just wing it. This model is our opportunity to understand what works, what doesn’t, and offer room for adjustment. It gives us a tangible space to visualize the entire build, mapping out how the intricate layers and subsystems interact in real space.

We’ve also been so fortunate to be surrounded by brilliant creatives who are helping us with design and manufacturability reviews, so when we take our first steps on the big build, we’ll be going in with absolute confidence. (Thank you @uriel.guy @herre.nicolas and @nina_van_styrum for your brainz!! 🙏🧠)

The journey to the playa starts right here @maker_junction 🙌

Rumor has it if you don't aggressively convert your bowl into a funnel on the final pass, you actually get to keep it. Who knew? Thrilled with how this one turned out! 🌳🔥🚫
