Maybe you don’t actually need another group fitness class.

Maybe you want to try yoga or mat pilates but have absolutely no idea where to start. Maybe you want to move with your best friend, your partner, your sister, your tiny chosen family.

Or maybe you just want something that feels like it was made for you.

This photo was taken a few years ago during a private Yin session I taught, and looking at it now, I realize I’ve been moving toward this kind of work for a long time.

I love teaching a room full of people. But there’s something really special that happens when we make the room smaller. We can slow down. Ask questions. Pay attention. Laugh. Modify. Rest. And build the practice around the actual humans in front of me.

So I’m officially opening up private, duet + small-group yoga and mat pilates sessions. 🌿

And with that, I’m quietly introducing something I’ve been building behind the scenes: Ritual: Whole Human Wellness.

The idea behind Ritual is pretty simple: wellness shouldn’t feel like another thing you’re struggling at.

I want to help people find little rituals they actually like, things that bring more strength, balance, restoration and FUN into their lives. For now, that means a thoughtfully curated combination of yoga, mat pilates + mindfulness built specifically around the people I’m working with.

Come alone. Bring a friend. Bring a few friends. Be a complete beginner. Be someone who’s practiced for years. You don’t have to be flexible. You don’t have to know what you’re doing. You don’t even have to know exactly what you need yet.

You just have to be curious. 🤍

And because movement is only one piece of taking care of a whole human, everyone who signs up will also get a little something extra from me: weekly nourishing meal inspiration from my kitchen to yours. 🥑🍋

If any of this sounds like something you’ve been looking for, DM me. Tell me what you’re curious about or literally just send me “I have no idea where to start.”

That’s a perfectly good place to start. 🌿

Movement is how we build strength.

What a first night at the Holiday Night Market ✨⁠

Our community truly showed up and filled Charis Park with life. From the lights and music to friends, families, and laughter, the park came alive as shoppers supported local vendors and found beautiful, sustainable holiday gifts. We were blown away by the turnout and the love shown to our makers.⁠

Last week was the wildest whirlwind.

After a month of working on my giant cloud I had to face a hard reality: I wasn’t going to be able to get it out of my garage because it had gotten too heavy.

So I deconstructed the original and started over with just four days until showtime.

I reused the 2500+ post consumer plastic y’all donated and went to town on building a much lighter cloud.

The universe conspired with me though—and thanks to the incredible help of my ever-patient partner and a group of strangers on drop off day, she made it to Confluence!

She’s not the cloud I originally envisioned but I’m so proud of her, and @sariverfoundation put on an incredible event last weekend.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated supplies, cheered me on, and came out to visit.

Cloud Gazer is coming back home today where she’ll eventually be deconstructed again and live a second life as many new permanent art pieces. I can’t wait to see what she becomes next.

Here’s to dreaming up wild ideas and figuring out how to make them happen!
