i love all my friends a lot but here’s to a few

i love you my fellow seniors. asher, isaiah, evan, kegan, lara, william, cooper. asher i’ve grown up with you for a while, you inspire me so much. i’ve met most of you here, and so on but i love each and every one of you and can’t WAIT to see how far you go.

dillon and dylan. you are both just lovely and SO talented and i will keep up with your crazy lives no matter what.

jordan. my baby brother. i’m crying while writing this but you are perfect. i love you so. you can always reach out to me about ANYTHING and i will pick up right away.

finally, to my gavin. you are there for me ALWAYS when i need it and i know i can always count on you, and you’re just an hour and a half away!

and with the heaviest heart, thank you for making my last show at home the best one.

This DAMN show yall. Hadestown has been a dream show of mine for a longgggggg time. And for it to be my first musical means so much to me. I used to think people who typed long ah paragraphs abt shows they did were doing too much. But now I get it. I wouldn’t have wanted to do this show with any other cast. The people I’ve met, the experiences I’ve had, and ofc the friends I’ve made is something I’m truly greatful for.

To @thayerrr All I have to say is thank you. You properly introduced me into the theater world, and I’m so glad you did. You gave me the chance to showcase my choreography and my art in a way no one else has. I’m so greatful this is my first, and hopefully not my last show with you.

To @bxfinn Your choreography was just perfect for this show. My knees will always remember chant. I promise you. The way your brain thinks is so smart and I’m so blessed that I got to be one of your dance captains. I can’t wait to see what you create next.

And ofc to @becaboobabe my favorite stage manager. You did so much for all of us and I hope you know how much we love you. You never failed to make all of us laugh or to take away as many dojo points as possible.

To my Ladies of the Underground. YALL ATE DOWN. Thank you for making my choreo look so damn good. Our lady will probably be my favorite piece for a very long time.

happy closing to the Common Ground @squeakywheeltheatre fringe fest!

I’m so thankful for another chance to put this show on infront of another live audience. Not only did this cast and crew exceed all my expectations— we also won the audience choice award!

While I’m the words on the page, the actors and director made the words jump off the page at me in a way I’d never seen before. The interpretations of the characters and lines were fantastic. I’m so thankful for all the people involved.

I’d specifically like to thank @theblakewalton for being my mentor and agreeing to direct my work again. I am beyond grateful.

So proud of this entire cast for their incredibly hard work in The Common Ground and especially proud of @arlucas2002 and my dear friend @madelineholdway for writing such a poignant piece of theatre that is thought-provoking and connects with its audience members.

Thank you very much for @theblakewalton for being such a great mentor to me this past year and for always trusting me and giving me wonderful opportunities where I learn.

Special thanks to Dorian Boyd and Chris McVicker for their patience this week as I learnt how to call cues and making me feel so welcome.

I could not have asked for a better last show before I leave for Otterbein. Thank you all so much.
