"Heaven's not a place that you go when you die, it's that moment in life when you touch her and you feel alive.
So live for the moment
And take this advice, live by every word
Love's completely real, so forget anything that you have heard
And live for the moment now."

Have you ever gotten the same unique feeling from two totally different things? I had it happen tonight, and it hit me so hard that I actually found myself laughing out loud.
Shortly after this photo, I jumped in with the family and found myself laying on my back across the middle of the playpen. Vada was pushing against my head while playing, River was crawling on my legs, and Kim leaned across me to reach Vada. We happened to have a YouTube video of a concert on TV, playing in the background. In that very moment, with the music playing and everyone together, happy, and crawling all over me, it reminded me so much of a particular moment. It was an overwhelming joy that I'd felt before, standing up front at a crowded show, screaming my lungs out to a band I loved, being so tightly packed together with other people that I could just go limp and be held up and moved around by the rest of the audience. It's that moment when the audience becomes one, moving together, singing together, feeling something special together.
The idea that I got that same feeling in a playpen with my wife and two kids with music playing in the background made me audibly chuckle, and nearly brought a tear to my eye. I know it sounds crazy. I may not get to jump into the middle of a big crowd anytime soon, but it was nice to still have that familiar feeling for a moment.

This picture is what nightmares are made of 🤣🤣 Kim decided to be the Grinch this year, so we took a couple of photos tonight. Absolutely terrifying.

This freaking kid. That smile is gonna be trouble. How young do you think a kid can get spoiled? 📸 by @makeup_by_kim

Her shirt says "Everyone is thankful for me," and it couldn't be more true. I'm especially thankful for her getting her mom's cute smile!

Never would've thought my best pictures would go from concerts to landscapes to this. 15 weeks old, and this little miracle is perfect.

Was listening to @amnthewilderness and this line just stuck out...
"Of all the things my hands have held, the best by far is you."
Can't believe she's already 2 months old!
