The importance of your 2nd cleanse

Your first cleanse?
That’s just removing the day — makeup, SPF, oil.

🛑Your second cleanse is what actually cleans your skin.

It’s the step that:

My current cleanser for 2nd cleanse is the inkey list hydrating cleanser and its definitely a repurchase. Ive tried lots of hydrating ones but still left my skin feeling tight. This one leaves my skin feeling hydrated and glowy and Affordable.

This year I wanted to celebrate the women in my life that I have met online! Social media can be a very toxic place but for me it’s what saved me in 2020! After loosing my mum to cancer and covid, Instagram and the people I met on Instagram kept me going 🩷🩷🩷 So I wanted to wish the gorgeous ladies I have met on her, who are truly amazing people, a very Happy Galentine’s day✨✨! There are people on here that I have met but don’t have a photo of and people I speak to regularly that I haven’t met face to face! This post is to allllllll you ladies 🩷🩷🩷 Love you all lots and forever grateful to have you in my life 😘

❤️ Mighty Melt Cleansing Balm

Melts into an oil instantly, destroys makeup and doesn’t sting my eyes. It’s a winner 🥇

❤️ Jelly Joker Low Ph Gentle Cleanser

I wasn’t expecting to like this, gel cleaners (not the gel-to-oil) are always too drying for me, this one is NOT! The texture is that of a jelly, but it nourishes like a cream, Fantastic.

❤️ Liquid Hydration

A hydrating, barrier supporting spray toner (heavier than a mist), this one drenched your skin with panthenol, allantoin and natural moisturising factors.

❤️ Stress Less

This is your fire blanket serum, if your skin is feeling irritated, itchy or hot, it will calm it down or if your skin is prone to that, help prevent stress. It’s a light weight serum that will pair well with others.

❤️ Happy Barrier

This one is deceptive, it appears to be thick and balmy, yet melts into a lightweight cream. It covers your skin in a silky protective layer of moisture that feels instantly comforting. Squalane, lipids, ceramides and green tea make up this beautifully comforting moisturiser.

To top it all off, the price is unbelievable, the list expensive product here is the Mighty Melt at £12.25, hardly bank breaking.

I will use all of this myself, however I would also be more than happy with my teens using it too due it being so gentle.

£135 for a moisturiser? I’d want it to plump my face and sort my pelvic floor 🫠

You lot love a challenge — and I try to rise to the occasion. @makeup_cleanse_repeat asked for an alternative to the very lovely, very pricey Kate Somerville K8 Peptide Cream… and this one had me digging.

Enter: @thebeautycrop Peptide Calm Moisturiser. It’s £12, and yes — it contains copper peptides, a peptide complex, and ceramides just like the original.

Is it identical? No. But if your barrier’s begging for backup and your budget’s already spoken for (hello, snack cupboard), this is a pretty brilliant alternative.

Let me know what other swaps you want me to hunt down — so you can spend more on shoes and Kit Kats.

The most beautiful baby shower I could’ve ever imagined! I am feeling so incredibly lucky right now to have so many amazing ladies around me. I can’t even begin to thank them all enough for such a beautiful day. People travelling from the shite end of the country (the sarfffff) just to be there. Epic. So many ladies ‘accidentally’ rocking leopard print made me laugh. My friends and family really do mean the world to me and you all made me smile so much. Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 bloody love you all. And @glow_with_rella @magsy_w_ @katepinksmith you really are the most amazing pals for organising it. Thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.
