Chapter 36. The Rebirth🔥

This year, I’m not wishing myself a softer life. I’m wishing myself the courage to live it FULLY.

To love wildly. To feel deeply. To take risks. To follow my curiosity. To trust the universe, even when I have absolutely no idea where it’s taking me.

I wish myself more goosebumps. More butterflies. More ridiculous adventures. More dancing until sunrise. More kisses that make time stop. More moments that make me think, fuck, I love being alive.

May I never shrink myself to fit into someone else’s idea of who I should be.

May I always have the audacity to reinvent myself, the softness to stay open, and the courage to choose what makes my soul feel on fire.

Here’s to the woman I’ve been, the woman I’ve outgrown, and the woman I haven’t even met yet.

Less fear. More fire. More love. More LIFE.

36, darling. Let’s make some magic 🪄🔥

From the decorations and outfits to the jewellery, poses and everyday objects, every detail tells a story.

Peranakan culture has been part of Malaya and Singapore for centuries, shaped by Chinese and Southeast Asian influences. Traditionally known as Baba and Nyonya, their heritage can be seen in their clothing, food, crafts and way of life.

The abacus, porcelain vases, jewellery and textiles offer a glimpse into how they lived.

These are the stories of Malaya and Singapore — a heritage worth keeping alive.

Join us this October as we bring these stories to life. Honored to be part of a project celebrating Peranakan culture and its heritage at @sgperanakanmansion Stay tuned. ❤️
