The real behind the scenes of a makeup test for Milan Fashion Week! A huge undertaking by me and my team, where we were in charge of the creative direction of the makeup for the @marcorambaldi_ MFW show.. I worked closely with the designer and his core team to bring the vision to life. I brought in the teams for backstage through my brand @beautybyrosh The test was done the day before the show in Milan. And I took 3 of my team members for the test chosen from the 16 artists we had for the show date. Come with me to work at Fashion Week as a makeup artist. 💄✨ This time, I got to work with Beauty by Rosh for a few different shows, and honestly… backstage was a whole experience. For Marco Rambaldi, we went for graphic eyeliner and really fresh, blushy looks — so lots of color, structure and skin. Then we moved on to Casa di Preti, where the direction was completely different. We kept the makeup very natural and fresh — no real glam, just glossy skin, natural tones and that effortless “I woke up like this” kind of look. I worked on different looks across around ten models, so basically… brushes in one hand, makeup in the other, and absolutely no time to breathe. But this is the kind of chaos I actually love.
