It always takes me a moment to catch my breath when I get home from The Artist Summit.
I wanna replay the moments in photos over and over again so I burn every memory into my soul.
I go over all the things, the convos, the connections I shoulda woulda if only there were more time . But there is never enough…

getting to spend a week in my favorite place on earth with some of my favorite humans is a gift I do not take lightly. To spend the smallest amount of time living solely in my breath and taking a piece of you all home with me, some in thought, some in notes, some in tea, some in the pile of sand in my shoes, few in all of the above⟁ … but every heartbeat in the room all engraved on my own heart.

There is a grief state I go through after leaving Ptown that few can understand, (but if you know you know ) that tugs at my heart until I arrive again. Maybe even a little more so this time …A holding space of breath, and beat, and will I make it back… but that’s what life does to us I suppose . Or at least that is what I hope it does for you. Because even the grief is a glorious reminder of all the moments shared.

So I hope we are lucky enough to find our feet together in the sand of this magical place, while our hearts stare up at the sky full of stars again soon.
Until then and always thank you @michaeldevellis & @jvincentmakeup for always lighting a bonfire in my heart & gifting me magic every chance you get.

See ya all next time (🤞🏻) I’ll bring the marshmallows 🤍🔥

✨ 2026 Artist’s Summit hosted by the inspiring @thepowdergroup ✨

One measly post cannot begin to contain all the amazing friendships, ideas, inspiration, and products that came with this event. Nor the stunning beauty of Provincetown. But I will endeavor to condense it here.

Freelancers, creatives, small businesses owners looking for a spark - even if, like me, you’re far from a makeup artist - please consider checking out this wonderful group of accomplished, fabulous, and welcoming badasses.

Also, not to brag but I made friends with a wild fox 🦊

Carmen Sandiego can’t touch me lol. I went back in time through 3 continents, 5 flights in less than 36 hours and still make it to the welcome happy hour with time to spare. Anything to be with my artist family 😂 #thepowdergroup #theartistsummit #makeupartist #glamcraft🔮💄

Career growth can be really hard in the beauty industry no matter where you're orbiting it from. Whether it's makeup artistry, photography, modeling, or education these careers rarely come with a straight, simple, easy path. It doesn't matter if you're in New York City or a tiny, midwestern town, COMMUNITY MATTERS! I am so thankful for finding TPG as I began my re-entrance to the industry. They did not carve the path for me. I committed to changing, growing, learning, and slaying dragons (which honestly I am stealing forever thank you @makeupbyagarhodes). I made that commitment after The Makeup Show 2025 and reflecting at The Artist Summit, I can't believe how much my life has changed since. I can't wait to see how things change over the next year. The inspiration and passion that I got from The Makeup Show was built upon by a million times at The Artist Summit. I know I have to keep carving the path, ut it is a lot easier when you know you are moving forward with all of the hands of the founders, sponsors, and members of TPG guiding and cheering for you!
