Details to think about when asking for a high bun:
- Would you like to see the bun from the front?
- Minimal face framing, or tendrils all over?
- Do you prefer the nape twisted up like a French twist or pinned up softly?
- Do you want it to feel soft and elegant, or messy and effortless?
- How much hair do you have, and do you need extensions? The majority of my brides lately have added extensions for fullness and that Pinterest-worthy finish.

I almost never use only my hands but I’ve been avoiding washing my brushes for way too long so I’m not letting myself use them til they’re clean 🧼😇 people usually sheepishly admit to me that they only use their hands to apply their makeup and imo that’s perfectly okay! if you’re pretty no fuss, wear more sheer coverage and lots of cream products, it’s perfectly fine to just use your hands 🫶 no judgement here! I can barely wash my own brushes (but clients are always clean‼️)
