This trip got me thinking.

I’ve always believed in dreaming and making plans, while trying to stay present for the life that’s happening right now. But our plans change all the time. At some point you just have to take life as it comes.

While we were in LA, Coco sent us a video. She knew we were away for work and going to a few “princess parties.” Our nanny had shown her photos from the premiere, and Coco said:

“Mommy and Daddy, you two are awesome. Mommy, you are like Sleeping Beauty, and Daddy, you are like a rockstar. And you know why? Because you hug each other every single day.”

She’s four. And she gets it.

Tomorrow is going to be no phone day for this mommy. Only focusing on the things I should focus on. 🤍

What was it like working at MAC in the early 2000s? 🖤

It was artistry, fashion, music, incredible characters—and nonstop creativity. Event days, theme days, seminars, trainings, Halloween, and marathon days doing makeup from open to close. We didn’t just sell makeup; we created looks, learned from one another, pushed each other creatively, and became part of a culture that helped shape who I am as an artist today.
