If you had told me 20 years ago, while working at CEMEX, that one day I’d be photographing the wedding of my mentor’s daughter, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

Back then, I was just starting my career as a chemical engineer, working in the cement industry as a Development Engineer. He was one of the people who took me under his wing during those early years.

Life had other plans. 📸

More than two decades later, our paths crossed again, this time with me behind the camera, capturing a new chapter in his family’s story.

My very first wedding in San Luis Potosí, and one that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Twenty years ago, he helped shape the beginning of my career. Today, I got to capture a new chapter in his family’s story.

Funny how life brings people back into your story, just when you least expect it.
