A September wedding in the Scottish countryside. An intimate gathering of family and friends, a dress made for the setting, and one very unforgettable day.

The kind of day that already feels a little mythical in retrospect.

Much is said about the all-consuming nature of planning a wedding. I knew very little of it - largely because of my extraordinary mother, Tessa, who quietly orchestrated every last detail. From the beautiful to the barely noticeable, it all had her touch. @tessahartmann1

The day belonged to my parents, too. My dad was profoundly missed, but somehow present in all of it. And my mum gave us something far beyond a wedding: a day more generous, beautiful and magical than I could ever have imagined.

My maid of honour - my wee bug, my sister - went above and beyond in every sense. The ultimate right hand. I love you, sista. @talliastorm

And then, the dress. @eleganzasposa Romantic, sculptural and unapologetically dramatic - with just the right amount of Scottish drama.

A little Scotland. A little old-world romance. A lot of love. The beginning of forever @giacomo_arthur_fumagalli

The best day of my life. 12.09.2026 💍🤍

Thank you to my incredible mummy @tessahartmann1 , who single-handedly pulled off the wedding of our absolute dreams. Your endless generosity, love and attention to every single detail made this entire day possible, and I will never be able to thank you enough for giving us a day beyond anything we could ever have imagined. I love you beyond words.

And then, the dress of dreams. @eleganzasposa - where do I even begin? Handmade and so beautifully crafted in Scotland at your incredible atelier, every detail was a work of art. The exquisite lace, the corseted bodice, the almost Mary, Queen of Scots-inspired detailing throughout the gown… and THE TRAIN. Wow. ✨ I could never have imagined feeling quite so much like a princess. From the very first fitting to the moment I collected my gown, you made the entire experience so special and completely seamless. I cannot thank you enough for creating a dress that felt so completely me and that I will treasure forever. @iconica_bridal 🤍

@mattporteous - WOW. You are incredible. I could never have imagined wedding photos this fabulous. You captured the day, the love and the madness so perfectly. 📸

To my bridesmaids - you are ICONIC.
To my siblings - you are my rocks.
And to my HUBBY… I absolutely adore you.

The day we made it official. 💍

Surrounded by our closest friends and family in Lugano, our civil wedding was filled with more love than I could ever put into words.

There was, of course, one person missing from the photographs - but never from the day. My Dad. 🤍 I never imagined that when this day came, you wouldn’t be standing beside me or walking me down the aisle. And yet, somehow, I felt you right next to me the entire day. I know you were there, watching over us, and I carried you with me in every moment.

And to my incredible Mummy - the strongest woman I know. Somehow, through everything, you held us all up and made this magnificent day feel full of happiness, celebration and love. I will never know how you do it, but I am endlessly proud to be your daughter. 🤍

A day of so many emotions, so much love, and memories we will treasure forever.
