✏️ LIVE PORTRAITS AT YES! ART 2026

Fancy taking home a portrait of yourself, drawn right in front of you?

This year we have two brilliant local artists creating live portraits throughout the day:

✏️ Jason Hawkridge
Back by popular demand, Jason will be drawing your beautiful faces in (E)17 minutes. Quirky, characterful A3 portraits in his distinctive pencil style. £30 @jasonhawkridgeart

🎨 Sylvietta
Whimsical, expressive and spontaneous portraits using a playful mix of media. Expect the unexpected! Sessions are 15–30 minutes at £1 per minute. @sylvietta_art_sketchbook

Your portrait can be taken away once it’s finished, or collected later so you can keep browsing, chatting and enjoying the day.

📍 Big Penny Social, Walthamstow
📅 Sunday 27 September, 12–6pm

Portrait sessions are booked and paid for separately from Yes! Art entry, so don’t forget to get your event ticket too.

100% of portrait fees go directly to the artists. ❤️

The flyers and Trail maps are meeting the world! We’re loving seeing artists distribute them to their communities. Shout out to @makeyourmarke17’s drawing class and their enthusiasm for the Trail. Don’t forget to grab your map this week and tell everyone you know about it! 🔜🗺️🧑‍🎨

Miracle Mondays

Observation drawing of flowers with Jason Hawkridge

Today local artist Jason Hawridge of Make your Mark joined us for an observational drawing session of flowers.

The miracle of life and growth can be seen in each flower from seed to final flower and we took this approach, with Jason’s instruction, to not only look at the overall flower but to take into consideration all of the details and miracles along the way which make a fully grown flower.

Jason helped us come to a state of calm and deep focus in the drawing session as the room fell completely silent.

As an additional treat, he also led us around some of his own work located closely to where our Miracle Monday sessions were taking place.
